Kentucky Green Build

The Home Builders Association of Kentucky (hbak.com) has developed their own Green Building program and modeled it after the National Association of Home Builders' Green Build program.

There is very little difference between the KY Green Build and NAHB Green Build program.  The only differences between Kentucky's program and the NAHB program are:

• A homeowner manual must be created for each KY Green Build home under Section 6
• Extra credit is given under KY's program for every one point reduction in the home's HERS rating
